Brian is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Monter Capital Partnership. He is also founder and Director of other institutions including Longhorn Capital Limited, a private investments firm, Longhorn Associates Limited, an Asset Management registered in Zambia.

Brian earned his Doctorate in Business Administration– Finance from the Binary University of Malaysia. He also holds, among other qualifications, a Master of Business Administration from the Management College of Southern Africa in South Africa. He is a Chartered Treasurer and holder of the global Certified Treasury Professional credential with the
Association for Financial Professionals in the United States of America.

Professor Dan Kuwali practises law under his law firm KD Freeman & Associates where he is the Senior Partner. He is an Extraordinary Professor of International Law at the Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Pretoria and Distinguished Professor of International Law and International Relations, University of Lilongwe.

Fellow, Carr Centre for Human Rights Policy, Harvard Kennedy School of Government; Senior Fellow, R2P Scholars Network, Canadian Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, Canada; President of the Governing Council of the African Military Law Forum, Member of the Governing Council of the African Bar Association, He worked a Division Legal Advisor for United Nations (UN) Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Douglas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Malawi (The Polytechnic) and possesses the Mini Certificate in Risk Management (Real World Risk Institute) run by the highly regarded scholar, options trader and risk engineer, Nicholas Nassim Taleb), Chartered Retail Banker (Honorary) certificate and Credit Academy Certificate (Financial Times & Moody’s).

Douglas brings on board 3 decades of leadership and business experience – with deep and varied exposure at Business Head, CE and Board levels across multiple businesses (commercial banking, leasing and asset finance, accounting, and finance – Standard Bank Group; low income, impact financial services, including data analytics, agency banking and digital financial services– Pinnacle Financial Services Limited and FINCA Zambia; and audit – Coopers & Lybrand)

Sera is an agri-business specialist with a PhD in Development Finance from Aberystwyth University , an MBA from Charles Stuart University, a bachelors and Diploma in Agriculture from the university of Malawi. She is the Chairperson of the Credit Risk Management Committee.
